Almost set house on fire trying to use self cleaning oven. Everyone ok, it's under control. Just feel really stupid.

Just kinda realized how much my habits have changed.

Last year, if I woke up with a sore throat, I'd probably have gone and bought sherbet, or worse, ice cream.

This year? I made soup from scratch.

I knew going in that Rikku was a bed cat. I've since learned he's also a cover hog - if he can, he'll happily nest in the sheets.

Tonight, he got up on the bed and curled up after I had turned it down, so I decided to try just sliding the sheets & blanket over him, thinking he'd move so I could get into bed myself.
